Best Memorial Day Cookout Ever
I think yesterday was the best cookout I have EVER been too(shout out to Frat). I mean the music ,the food, the atmosphere, the weather,(it seemed like everything was working on all cylinders). I had a blast. If I ever throw a cookout I want to throw one like this. I forgot how much a party starter "Planet Rock" and "It Takes Two" were..... There were a few teens there and they got their "crunk on" for a second but the music was very hip hop center (late 80's early 90's) I played a small role in the music (fulfilled a lil of my secret dream to be a DJ). Of course for the few "older" folks in the crowd we had an Frankie Beverley set...LOL. But for the most part the majority of the people there were in their late 20's and early to mid 30's.
Let me address the food.... EXCELLENT.. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Shrimp, Fish, Italian Sausage, Chicken(baked, fried and BBQd)Potato Salad, baked beans, deviled eggs. I threw my insulin to the side and ate like I was at the last supper. (of course I will be paying for it today when I get to the gym)
I really don't think I have enjoyed a cookout this much since I went to a Kappa cookout on campus circa 96.
I had a wonderful MEMORIAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
